Chloe Reynolds sees herself as a figurative painter, painting from old family photographs, Reynolds is interested in how visual language changes through medium to medium such as painting from photographs and drawings. Painting figures almost life like scale and then playing around with thick brush strokes to suggest the human form. Sometimes the space in-between the figures is just as important, figuration turns in to semi-abstraction to illuminate the figures giving them a sense of place.

Using a vibrant colour pallet, to remodel the source material and bring it back to the present. Working from digital collages and enhancing the photos rejuvenating the source material for the paintings.
